Priority consideration will be given to military spouse preference and family member preference eligible residing in the commute area of the duty location for this position. Commute area is defined as the geographic area surrounding the duty location in which people can reasonably be expected to travel back and forth daily.
Military Spouses and Family Members may apply 30 days before their anticipated arrival date. However, they will not receive preference until arrival at the foreign location. Additional documentation may be required prior to granting preference.
Military spouses and family members who are appointed may not extend longer than 2 months following the transfer of the sponsor from the commuting area of the foreign duty station; 2 months beyond the separation of the appointee's sponsor; or any time beyond the time employee ceases to be a family member.
-Account creations and closures as well as modifying/updating roster data for all personnel.
Prepares materials for work flow and operational analysis, and cost studies-.
-Provides advice and assistance on a continuing basis to supervisor/senior analyst within the department in search of sound solutions to problems in support of operational requirements.
-Searches through files and other reference material, organizes and presents factual information.
-Establishes, implements and develops internal procedures/tracking various personnel programs.
-Determines the type of software to be used and integrates data from various application types such as web-based applications.
-Uses the knowledge of a variety of different software applications to improve efficiency and effectiveness of manpower management programs and operations.
-Coordinates all travel orders and claims for employees, reviewing and correcting for accuracy and completeness.
-Coordinates security clearance with security manager and tracks status of Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) verification for new employees.
