    Summary

    The primary purpose of the position is to provide administrative information and assistance to the Superintendent or to the manager of the unit (if located at headquarters, a regional office or a center) and staff, on the practical and technical aspects of office administration, to include human resources, budget, acquisition and property management, and other administrative support services, and to perform staff support work in each of these areas.

    Responsibilities

    Administering payroll using Quicktime. Prepares or assists with human resource paperwork going to regional specialists at the SHRO. Inputs personnel actions into FPPS. Maintains local OPF or "shadow" files and training certificates. Works with selecting officials on recruitment, finding appropriate position descriptions, updating performance plans and other human resource documentation. Provides orientations for new employees. Sets up OWCP DOI files and consults with the SHRO on non-routine matters. Serves as the point of contact for Permanent Change of Station.
    Produces Requisitions and Receiving Reports using the FBMS. Purchase supplies using GSA Advantage, UNICOR and other sources of mandatory supply. Write justifications, purchase and reconcile purchases made using Government Purchase Cards. Use AFS4 to follow-up with financial tracking of purchase. Collects funds, corresponds with donors and uses the OTCNet software program to deposit park donations. Works with others to reconcile park accounts (including resolving vendor problems and working with park staff on park needs) using AFS4.
    Serves as the automotive fleet manager for all automobiles, trucks, and similar vehicles. Ensures vehicles are sent for preventive maintenance and ensures employees file required reports in the event of an accident. Uses FBMS to report monthly utilization.
    Creates and updates personal property records in FBMS. Assists with annual inventory of personal property. Creates travel authorizations and travel vouchers using CONCUR. Serves as Uniform Coordinator.
