About the Position: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Attorney-Adviser (General) at the US Army Legal Support Activity, Europe, Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, in Wiesbaden, Germany.

As an Attorney-Adviser (General) at the US Army Legal Support Activity, Europe, Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, you will:
- Review, research, and provide legal advice and guidance to the USAREUR Command, staff and major subordinate commands in the form of substantive legal opinions on highly complex or significant issues arising in the USAREUR Area of Operations, including but not limited to area jurisdiction, NATO SOFA related issues, compliance with statutes, treaties, executive agreements, property, criminal and administrative investigations, use of military air (MILAIR) transportation, and military/civilian personnel, travel, transportation, and entitlements.
- Serve as HQ USAREUR ethics counselor advising Command and staff on topics including but not limited to use of government resources, acceptance of gifts, post government employment, and financial disclosure management.
- Provide Freedom of Information (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) reviews and evaluate written responses to FOIA and PA requests.
Occasional travel - Up to 5 percent temporary duty travel may be required for business/training purposes
