This position is an Audiologist in Audiology and Speech Pathology Service.   The incumbent will be responsible for independently performing the full range of a professional Audiologist, including diagnostic assessment, planning, organizing and conducting a rehabilitation program when indicated, training and consultation.  He/she has final responsibility for the diagnostic assessment and evaluation of any and all patients referred for treatment.  Conducts interviews with patients and appropriate family members; selects, administers, interprets the diagnostic tests necessary to detect and evaluate hearing disorders.  Measures hearing sensitivity using routine and special tests.  Writes reports that interprets results and counsel veterans regarding their hearing loss and their options for rehabilitation.  Performs hearing aid evaluations on eligible veterans.  Provides rehabilitation services to eligible veterans.

Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
