The primary purpose of this position is to prepare of a large variety of technical, multi-task service contracts to support Civil Engineer real property facilities and equipment; develop task inspection criteria and bidding schedules, attend and participate in contract negotiations and evaluations, and maintain effective coordination measures between users and agencies. Majority of contracts are perpetual in nature and require constant changes, modifications, and re-bidding to meet the changing constraints of funding limitations, the overall base mission, and continuous advances in technology.
- Plans and develops statements of work, detailed cost estimates, pricing schedules and multi-funded purchase requests for a variety of contract requirements.
- Develops detailed contract modifications and adjusts Scope of Work, contract cost and related documents which deletes or increase services to existing contracts.
- Prepares documents, bidding schedules, tables, maps, floor plans, location plans, metric charts and other supporting data using a variety of computer software programs.
- Attends pre-performance, pre-award and post-award conferences to ensure contractors full understanding and compliance of contract terms.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
