    Summary

    You will serve as a ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the Mission Architecture and Systems Engineering Directorate, (SPAWAR 5.0B) of SPAWARSYSCOM.

    THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE ANNOUNCEMENT. Section 1643(a)(3) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 authorizes the Secretary of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates directly to cyber workforce positions within the Department of Defense (DoD). Competitive rating and ranking of applicants do not apply to the Direct Hire process.

    Responsibilities

    • You will be responsible for coordinating technical meetings, collecting and presenting metrics of Technical Warrant Holder (TWH) engagements to senior leadership when required.
    • You will participate in and provide input to, as required, the TWH's regular assessments and provide quarterly reports to the Deputy Warranting Officer (DWO) for the Engineering/Systems Engineering (E/SE) domain.
    • You will serve as the focal point for Tech Authority (TA) engagements for the E/SE domain, providing oversight and guidance to the cadre of TWH's assigned to the E/SE domain.
    • You will responsible for providing oversight and technical expertise to Technical Warrant Holders (TWH), programs or projects.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
