purpose of this position is to perform duties as the senior logistics management specialist between
AFSOC, System Program Office, 413 FLTS Systems Program Engineers, and test
engineers in support of acquisition phases of all aircraft systems, programs, and major equipment.
Incumbent provides unit staff support and oversight of contractor maintenance
activities of assigned aircraft. Activities include but are not
limited to contractor manned AMU maintenance planning and scheduling,
productivity data analysis, and training, support agreements. Plans, organizes,
coordinates, and directs full-time activities determining requirements to support
test programs by managing on-and off-equipment maintenance, facilities
availability, support equipment, and supplies required to ensure the successful
acquisition program developmental test execution and Integrated Logistics
Support and logistics test support planning.
Serves as the focal point
for planning, management, and coordination of life cycle logistics for aircraft
- Provides expert systems/equipment advice
and recommendations to senior leaders and maintenance technicians.
- Serves as the senior representative and
spokesperson in communicating developmental test program matters.
- Provides technical
assistance to assigned unit in resolving complex system/equipment problems
or design deficiencies.
- Serves as technical advisor
