Focusing on treating the whole Veteran through health promotion and disease prevention, the Northeast Ohio VA Healthcare System provides comprehensive, seamless health care and social services for more than 112,000 Veterans across Northeast Ohio. The Northeast Ohio VA Healthcare System is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will function at the New Philadelphia Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Community Outpatient Service (COPS). The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant functions interdependently with physicians and is responsible for providing quality care, consultation, education, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
This position will remain open until the end of the calendar year. A first cut-off of Wednesday, January 17th 2018 and subsequent cut-offs every Wednesday thereafter will be established and all qualified applications received by the cut-off date will be forwarded to the selecting official for a review. A selection may be made at any time during the opening of the announcement.
