    This position is located at MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII - KBAY BOWLING LANES. Candidates selected for this position will serve as a RECREATION ASSISTANT (BOWLING OPERATIONS) NF2* for MCCS.

    Responsibilities

    Performs and/or assists Bowling Center Manager in the operation of the recreational activity during assigned shift at nights, weekends, and for other regular work schedule absences.  Responsibility includes snack bar, pro shop, lane assignments and equipment rentals.  Based on established policies, incumbent carries out assigned phases of designated activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants. Typical assignments may include reviewing schedule of events taking place during assigned shift, providing instruction to Bowling Center staff of duty, and working with sales, food service, etc., to ensure support for events. Helps to plan and coordinates details of recreational activities and maintains related supplies. Assists in planning, scheduling and publicizing various activities to attract and motivate participants. Assists Manager with training of assigned personnel, ensures adequate staffing during shift, and completes reports of activities and sales. Responsible for receipt, safekeeping, deposit and disbursement and accountability of funds. May oversee sale of retail items associated with activities. Ensures adherence to safety rules and regulations. Performs other related duties assigned.
