DoDEA is a major Department of Defense (DoD) Field Activity with worldwide scope. DoDEA plans, directs, coordinates, and manages the education programs for DoD dependents. DoDEA consists of three regions, DoDEA Americas, DoDEA Europe, and DoDEA Pacific and a total of eight school districts located overseas and in the U.S. and its territories. DoDEA provides education to eligible DoD military and civilian dependents from pre-kindergarten through grade 12.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER APPLICATIONS CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
2- OVERSEAS PRE-EMPLOYMENT DATA FORM (See link under "Required Documents" section to download)
3- COPY OF PASSPORT
4- COPY OF SPONSORS ORDERS
** The above 4 items are considered your application package. Once you have it all together please hand deliver to the school you want to apply to.

Substitute teachers present instruction in accordance with an established lesson plan and curriculum to students in a classroom environment. AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Tutors are advocates and role models for the students, responsible for reporting student progress to the teacher. They tutor students individually or in small groups, review the students' notes, entertain questions and discussions, determine the concepts which need to be reviewed, work with students in any phase of the writing process, and correct students' work.
