    The Supervisor DRT monitors and makes work assignments, provides input on performance, resolves daily workplace issues and maintains efficient workflow.

    Assignments at this level include, but are not limited to: assuring coverage of all areas of responsibility; conducting ongoing reviews to ensure quality of work; ensuring accurate and timely scheduling of appointments; providing guidance to staff members to include changes in policies and procedures; distributing and balancing workload; creating and maintaining employee work schedules; orienting and providing on-the-job training for new and current employees; ensuring all training requirements are met; organizing the work structure of his/her assigned areas; and acting as liaison between DRT and staff in order to resolve day to day
    Duties will include, but are not limited, to:

    • Ensuring procedures are performed and reported accurately and efficiently
    • Maintaining and ensuring departmental policies and procedures are properly adhered to
    • Schedules, prioritizes, and sets deadlines for regular and special work assignments
    • Assists with departmental budgets including capital budget requests for review and approval by the Medical Center Director
    • Ensures budget variances are within acceptable limits and develops strategies to address unfavorable variances
    • Oversees effective use of staff, time, equipment, and supplies
    • Manages the development, implementation and effectiveness of the clinic's medical imaging quality assurance at the technical level and assists Radiologists with the clinical QA program
    • Performs patient imaging examinations as to ensure the quality and timeliness of patient care
    • Acts as technical resource to staff providing solutions to problems that arise concerning equipment function, examination approach, order of operations, and other special situations
    • Works collaboratively with Radiologists to ensure the quality, appropriateness, safety, and timeliness of services provided
    • Schedules, trains, and assigns and evaluates work of Imaging Department staff
    • Develops programs, plans, and procedures to ensure implementation of programs such as EEO, merit promotion, career-development, performance appraisals, and counseling services
    • Analyzes data and initiates necessary improvements
    • Prepares managerial reports relating to productivity, efficiency, and quality

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p
