    Responsibilities

    ·        The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to Management Support and Human Resources Branch, Advanced Systems and Development Directorate (AD).

    ·        Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of Management Support and Human Resources Branch, ensuring that Management Operations Division complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.

    ·        Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.

    ·        Represents Management Operations Division with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with Directors, Commanders and Division Chiefs.

    ·    Performs Long-Range Manpower/Human Resources Planning. Consults and coordinates with the organization's servicing manpower office (SMC/DPB) on organizational and manpower matters and policies, ensuring timely dissemination of information to Directorate management.  

    ·        Oversees the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP). Ensures training and certification is accomplished per Defense Acquisition Workforce Initiative (DAWI) law

    Occasional travel - Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft
