and directs the activities of Management Support and Human Resources
Branch, ensuring that Management Operations Division
complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel
to employees regarding policies,
procedures, and directives of management.
Represents Management Operations
Division with a variety
of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with Directors, Commanders and Division Chiefs.
Performs Long-Range Manpower/Human Resources Planning. Consults and coordinates with the organization's servicing manpower office (SMC/DPB) on organizational and manpower matters and policies, ensuring timely dissemination of information to Directorate management.
Oversees the Acquisition Professional Development Program
training and certification is accomplished per Defense Acquisition Workforce Initiative (DAWI) law
Occasional travel - Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft
