    You will serve as a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer (Environmental Engineering, Physical Science) in the Public Works Department of NAVFAC ROICC SOUDA BAY.

    • You will interpret environmental policies and management support to the installation to ensure compliance with applicable environmental requirements.
    • You will coordinate with other installations in the performance of environmental clean-up activities to ensure environmental compliance and services. (i.e., ship and aircraft operations, recreation, public works functions and ordnance).
    • You will provide oversight services for tenant commands not having progammatic or technical capabilities to comply wit environmental program requirements.
    • You will manage all installation environmental programs to include day-to-day environmental compliance, oversight and the environmental management system (EMS) to improve the environmental quality at the installation
    • You will manage installation aspects of environmental plans and permits to ensure compliance with permits issued by the host nation.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
