    The representative rate for this position is $79,386 per annum ($38.04 per hour).

    Responsibilities

    The incumbent is responsible for the planning, policy and administration of the total education program involving academic, vocational, leisure and/or recreational activities for inmates. Incumbent is responsible for providing a comprehensive education program for the institution’s inmate population, which have diverse educational levels and abilities, and come from a variety of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.

    Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.

    Occasional travel - Travel may be required for training and/or work related issues.
