Duties
Schedules meetings and other important events for executive level Assistant Sergeant at Arms. Resolves scheduling conflicts and rearranges daily schedules as required by established priorities and addresses unforeseen events. Performs administrative tasks like payroll and finance support, and asset management. Prepares and monitors a variety of sensitive and confidential personnel actions and documentation. Researches, develops, and facilitates a variety of reports, digests, newsletters, email announcements, correspondence, and presentations. Performs policy coordinator duties to include coordinating leadership review and editorial tracking; prepares and updates policy office process guidance documentation. Performs COR responsibilities for information services contracts. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Work Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in administrative support and scheduling.

Working Conditions
- Since this position requires onsite presence in support of the U.S. Senate when in session, this position requires the employee to be available and prepared to work during government shutdowns, in inclement weather, on holidays, and during late night, overnight, and weekend sessions. In the context of government furloughs, this position is considered excepted.
- This position directly supports essential services of the U.S. Senate. As such, this position requires the employee be available and prepared to work during government shutdowns, in inclement weather, on holidays, weekends, and during late nights to ensure essential services to the Senate continue without interruption.
- No exceptional physical demands.

Associate’s degree.
