Summary

This position will be assigned to Resource Management Office.

This is a Regular Part-time (RPT) position which means you are guaranteed 20 hours, however you could work up to 40 hours per week. As a RPT, you are eligible for benefits, to include Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401k and NAF Retirement.

Duties

-Purpose of this position is to assist the IT Specialist in providing Information Technology (IT) support to all Services activities.
- Assist in installing or relocating, testing, etc., of all newly acquired computer equipment.
-Acts as the Assistant E-mail Network administrator for the Division.
-Creates, modifies, and deletes user accounts and assigns access permission.
-Provide IT support of command downward directed automated systems to include, but not limited to NAF Management Information System (MIS); Services Information Management System (SIMS) for lodging and food service; Time Management (TMX), Management
Off-line/On-line Payroll Systems (MOOPS, Payroll Interface of General Ledger (PRIGL); Electronic Commerce Purchasing System (ECPS); NAF Banking Card System; NAF Accrual, Users Friend; Vector Payroll system; International Merchant Purchasing Authorization (IMPAC) purchasing; Training Education Management Systems (TEMS); NAF Point of Sale systems and the NAF Personnel Data System.
-Assist in the implementation of LAN and peer to peer networks.
-Provides assistance to division personnel in the capability and operation of the standard data systems.
-Assist in evaluating and testing new system and software prior to implementation.
-Provides on-site technical assistance regarding any function of Services data system, i.e., data base requirements, system failures, installation, connectivity and upgrade/repair.
-May train division users in basic computer steps.
-Assist in inventory of all Services data equipment.
-May be required to operate a government vehicle to travel between activities.
-Responsible for all IT documents and reports.
-Ensures all Division and Flight suspense's are timely and accurate.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Qualifying Experience:
Successful completion of a National Agency Check is required. A current valid driver license is required. Any type of experience which gave applicant a knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving problems with information system equipment located in the division to include minicomputers, microcomputers, scanner disc laser printers, color printers, modems, terminals, and system file servers. Must have knowledge of resolving problems with telecommunications, Local Area Network and Wide Area Network Systems to carry out assignment. Knowledge of the computer needs of the division is highly desirable; however not required.

Education
