Duties
- Implements system security plans, policies and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Using system diagnostic tools and fault identification techniques, runs test to verify operability and functionality.
- Carries out routine maintenance, upgrade, and support of servers.
- Provides ongoing optimization and problem-solving support to minimize interruptions in customers' ability to carry out critical business activities.
- Applies information security and information security and information assurance policy, principles, and practices.
Requirements
Conditions of Employment

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to the satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier I background investigation.
- Incumbent must become DOD 8570.01Information Assurance Management Level 2, baseline certification compliant within six months employment.
Qualifications
Experience, education and/or specialized training sufficient to demonstrate knowledge and skill in:
Principles and methods for integrating information system components.
Performance tuning tools and techniques.
System diagnostics tool and fault identification techniques.
System administration methods; and IT security principles
Highly Preferred:
1. eMASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services) Certified
2. Current COMPTIA Sec+ Certified
3. Microsoft Windows 10 and/or Windows Server 2016 Certified
Education
