To qualify at the GS-09, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-07 level in federal service having demonstrated experience in
three (3) or more of the following areas. 1. Use of automated systems and /or processes that includes federal space acquisition, federal real property transactions or interagency agreements. 2. Use of systems to complete administrative support functions such as completing monthly reports, completing monthly lease payment transactions, or entry of new lease agreements; 3. Experience working with various customers and stakeholders, both internal and external, assisting them and answering questions when needed; 4. Maintaining accurate files and reports with minimal input and direction from a supervisor.
OR A master's or equivalent graduate degree,
or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree,
or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
You may combine specialized experience and education to meet the minimum qualifications.
To qualify at the GS-11, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-9 level in federal service having demonstrated experience in
three (3) or more of the following areas:1. Preparing and processing realty documents and titles in compliance with Federal laws, title regulations, and procedures for the acquisition of land rights. 2. Providing technical guidance, oversight and monitoring of easements and land purchase contracts. 3. Conducting negotiations with private parties and various entities for property rights. 4. Using a GIS database and plats to verify accuracy of lands inventory.
OR You could otherwise qualify on the basis of Education having a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, OR LL.M., if related.
OR You may combine specialized experience and education to meet the minimum qualifications.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
