    Summary

    This position is located in the Medical Staff Department of the Pine Ridge Service Unit, in Martin, SD. The purpose of this position is to provide high quality mid-level clinical support in the urgent care/walk-in setting in the ambulatory clinics and also in the Emergency Room (ER).

    Responsibilities

    • Assesses, plans, and provides comprehensive family practice care and therapeutic medical care to individual geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric and infant patients and their family in regards to medication management.
    • Participates in quality improvement programs and initiatives, ensuring compliance.
    • Promotes organizational and professional obligations; completion of clinical records/documentation in a timely manner.
    • Provide emergency treatment and initiates emergency life saving measures as appropriate.
