Duties
- Serves as Chief Business and Recreation Division. Plans, directs, and coordinates the functions, programs, and activities of the division to include but not limited to Sports and Fitness, Arts and Crafts, Recreation, Non Facility Based Planning.
- Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates community wide revenue generating programs. Determines overall local policies for providing business and recreation services.
- Manages the formulation and execution of annual budget. Reviews budget estimates submitted by program activities. Ensures fiscal responsibility and monitors expenditures to ensure efficient use of funds and proper accounting procedures.
- Determines program strengths and weaknesses and devises ways to improve services, reduce operational costs, and increase efficiency. Implements changes in organizational structures, positions, internal policies, to improve operations.
- Performs the full range of delegated supervisory personnel management tasks. Assigns, directs, and oversees the work of employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2 to include an initial and annual medical examination and Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must be willing to work special or after hour events when necessary.
- Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Progressively responsible experience performing related duties described above.
- Work experience serving in a supervisory capacity
- Demonstrated knowledge of the goals, concepts, and techniques of a community activities program (including recreation, sports, entertainment and art, general management and business operations of various facilities)
Highly Desirable:
- Five years' experience in formulating and executing APF and NAF budget
