    About the Position: This position is located at LETTERKENNY ARMY DEPOT in the Directorate of Operations, Planning & Support Production (Engineering Division). The position will be responsible for performing assignments relating to engineering concepts and practices.

    • Select designs and methods to satisfy specific requirements and conformance to engineering criteria and specifications.
    • Utilize computer aided design technology in the process of design and creating associated documentation.
    • Explore design ideas, visualize concepts through animations and photorealistic renderings, and simulate design performance in the intended application.
    • Develop illustrations and graphics for technical publications such as Technical Manuals and test and repair procedures.

    In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below.     GS-10: One year of specialized experience at the GS-09 grade level or equivalent in the private/public sector that includes: Perform engineering design, drafting tasks, and apply establish engineering policies and procedures relating to mechanical, electrical, electronics and industrial plant layout; complete assignments that require research, analysis; and create and modify computer-aided design and drawings using various systems.
