The selectee for this position serves as a High Voltage Electrician Leader in the Utilities & Energy Management (UEM) Product Line, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH), HI for Naval Facilities Engineering Command Hawaii (NAVFAC HI).

Duties

  • Identifies to recommend alterations/modifications needed to improve the operation of utility systems.
  • Makes technical decisions based on sufficient information and on the urgency of the situation.
  • Coordinates distribution of work to perform by employees based on established priorities, work schedules, and production requirements.
  • Plans needed repairs by replacing, reworking, refinishing or rewiring worn or damaged parts or components.
  • Resolves problems which may cause undue disruption of work schedules.
