This position is established under the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC). NCCIC is part of the Office of Cybersecurity and Communications under DHS's National Programs and Protection Directorate (NPPD). In this position, the incumbent will perform the following duties:
- Implement security requirements such as those resulting from laws, regulations or Presidential
- Integrate security programs across disciplines.
- define the scope and level of detail for security plans and policies.
- Assess new systems design methodologies to improve software quality; implementation activities.
- Identifies need for changes based on new security technologies or threats.
- Develops long-range plans for IT security systems that anticipate, identify, evaluate, mitigate, and minimize risks associated with lT systems vulnerabilities.
