This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
This position is a Flexible (Flex) position and there are 0 guaranteed hours per week. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits. There is no upper limit to the number of hours a flexible employee may work (subject to overtime obligations and work scheduling requirements).

Duties
- Serves as Automotive Detailer performing duties independently or as a member of a work crew in an auto craft shop. Maintains, adjusts, cleans,
lubricates and changes attachments on vehicle cleaning equipment.
- Washes and waxes vehicles using ladders and high pressure sprayers.
- Uses industrial cleaners to clean, protect, and deodorize vehicle interiors, windows, mirrors, and fixtures. Makes minor cosmetic repairs to vehicles.
- Loads and unloads supplies; moves materials using hand trucks or dollies; stacks and arranges supplies for storage; collects refuse and recyclable.

- Responsible for inventory and replenishes supplies as necessary. Reports facility condition to supervisor including the need for repairs.
Conditions of Employment

- Must have and retain a valid driver's license.
- Works indoors and outdoors. May be exposed to adverse weather conditions when working outdoors. Exposed to drafts, noise, dust, and dirt. Possibility of bruises, muscle strains, cuts and scrapes.
- Required to follow safety procedures and use standard safety equipment such as gloves, ear protectors, and safety glasses and exercise proper handling of equipment to avoid serious injury in the work area.
- Requires frequent lifting and moving of equipment weighing over 40 pounds.
- Must be willing and available to work a rotating shift that will include early mornings, days, nights, weekends and holidays to support mission needs.

1. Three (3) month of experience directly related to the duties to be performed or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the describedduties above.
2. Ability to lift 40lbs.
