Duties
- Performs heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items and furniture weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more.
- Completed work is reviewed for timeliness, work practices, and compliance with instruction.
- Incumbent is responsible for following safety practices, obtaining assistance, and performing maintenance on equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Conditions of Employment

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- A Medical Examination is required.
- Applicant must be able to frequently lift and carry very heavy objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds. Position requires standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for lengthy periods of time.
- The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees whether full time or part time are eligible to apply for this position.
- Must be available to work varying and/or rotating shifts to include nights, weekends, holidays and early mornings (reporting as early as 4AM for specials events).
Qualifications
1. Six (6) months of laboring experience required (e.g., operating push lawn mower, string trimmer, garden tools, etc).

2. Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions and completing assigned tasks.
