Duties
- As a leader, instructs, monitors and assists other Recreation Aids in proper opening procedures, maintenance of the center, and standards required to keep the facility in tip-top shape to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Is responsible for cleaning of fitness machines, fitness, locker rooms and pool areas.
- Must be familiar with the operation all fitness equipment and be able to explain use to guests.
- Opens and closes facility daily which includes turning on and off lights, TVs, music, steam room, sauna whirlpool, stocking towels, cleaning, etc.
- Assists patrons with information about all programs offered by the Edelweiss Resort, as well as the local area as the job requires providing information to guests.
Conditions of Employment

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, chapter 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation
- Physical is required for moderate to heavy lifting.
Qualifications
1. Must demonstrate the ability to offer excellent guest service.
2. Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire.
