A position is now available for one LPN in the
Nursing Service at the Mountain Home VA Medical Center. The incumbent will
work on the primary care Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) and may be
required to assist in the lab. The LPN is accountable for delivering
patient care to the adult/geriatric patient population with varying diagnoses
and treatments. He/she carries out assignments under the direction and
supervision of the registered nurse. The LPN exercises judgment within the
scope of training and experience. The work involves a sequence of duties
requiring the employee to set priorities and determine the proper nursing
procedures. The successful applicant will also assist with administrative
duties within the scope of practice.
Work Schedule: Primarily Mon-Fri: 8:30a-5:00p w/occasional Sat and possible nights/week-ends/holidays. May be required to occasionally come in early or stay after hours due to clinic demand.
