About the position: This position will be assigned to the Lodging Facility at Minot AFB, ND.
This is a Regular Part Time Position (RPT) 20 - 40 hours a week are guaranteed.
RPT employees are eligible to use the fitness center, golf course, bowling center, clubs, and swimming pool. Medical/dental/retirement/sick/vacation/Paid Parental Leave is also available

Duties
Administers and evaluates linen exchange services for Minot AFB, ND. Receives exchange items from customers and distributes to contract operations accordingly. Receives incoming linen from commercial laundry and dry cleaning facilities. Moves linen to proper location by storing and stacking. Disburses linen and laundry as it is returned from cleaning by having customers document receipt of their items. Monitors any overage or shortages in delivered quantities. Serves as quality assurance evaluator for contract surveillance and provides monthly feedback to lodging manager and functional chief. Provides performance work statements for contract services and measures compliance through inspections, audits and customer critiques, briefs lodging manager on any discrepancies.
Performs and documents semi-annual linen inventory. Maintains statistical data to monitor contractor performance and budgetary requirements. Reconciles quantities of linen cleaned with contractor invoices and recommends amounts for payment. Budgets for replacement stocks as needed and provides those budget recommendations to the lodging manager. Maintains compliance with Minot AFB hazardous waste management plan. Manages an ongoing safety program, ensuring a safe work environment exists for employees and customers. Provides recommendations to lodging manager on proper linen exchange procedures. Recommends changes to customer service standards, operational procedures and facility operating hours. Acts as building custodian and records management liaises with Civil Engineering to meet requirements.
Helps load/unload a step van, regular van or stake bed truck used to transport heavy boxes, bulky supplies, materials or linen from the warehouse or laundry in support of the Linen exchange and Lodging facility. may perform other tasks such as moving, arranging, collecting and cleaning equipment and materials or moving and arranging furniture. Responsible for the cleanliness and appearance of the linen exchange facility. Performs other duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Qualifying Experience:
Experience in responsible clerical or office work of any kind in which the applicant demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Must be proficient in standard office software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Moderately heavy physical effort is required. Heavy Lifting occasionally 50 pounds or more. Pushing and moving linen, linen carts and moving and lifting items. Working from ladders is required. cleans inside and outside walls, floors and walkways.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Must be able to read, speak and write English and follow directions. Must have a valid driver's license. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.

Education
