Duties
Major duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Incorporates a full range of skills and techniques in repairing, constructing, remodeling, and maintaining a variety of wooden and wood substitute structures representative of which are administrative and office buildings, warehouses, storage sheds and related facilities.
- Installs studs, sills, plates, braces, joists, floors, sub-floors, ceramic tile, vinyl sheet goods, paneling (including sheetrock, plywood, and veneers), siding, sheathing, insulating material, door and window frames, as well as interior and exterior trim.
- Fabricates and installs items that require a precise and accurate fit including window and door frames as well as shelves, counter tops (including laminate and solid surface material), cabinets, bookcases, etc.
- Designs, plans and executes the installation and modification of a variety of diverse modular furniture systems.
- Performs a wide variety of painting and wallpaper tasks using standard application methods.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday. 8:00am-4:30pm

Physical Requirements: Work requires walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Frequently lifts and carries parts and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and occasionally handles items weighing up to 100 Pounds. Personal assistance and/or lifting devices are used when appropriate to prevent injury.
