Duties
- Performs a variety of trades and crafts duties involving maintenance, repair, improvement of Golf course facilities and equipment. May drive a truck weighing up to 2.5 ton or flat bed, to assist in accomplishing the duties associated with this job.
- Assists in the disassembly, repair, modification, preventative maintenance, installation, removal and assembly of machinery and equipment. Assisting higher level personnel with painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpenter work.
- Assists higher level mechanics in the repair and testing of the less complex electrical accessories, components, subsystems and control equipment directly related to industrial machinery and systems.
- Assures safety requirements, housekeeping, environmental compliance rules are followed, and personal protective equipment is properly used.
- Participates as a member of a group in making preventive maintenance inspections of equipment, electrical equipment and performing minor adjustments and corrective maintenance to industrial equipment.

- The employee must have and maintain a current driver’s license while in this job.
- The employee must stand on hard surfaces for extended periods, stoop, bend and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions routinely.
- Frequently lifts and carries parts and equipment weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance and over 35 pounds with assistance from other workers or weight lifting equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
- Ability to communicate in English at a level to assure the duties described can be accomplished in a safe and satisfactory manner.
- Experience in accomplishing the types of duties described in this job.
- Requires a valid state driver's license.
