    The NF/SG Veterans Health System is recruiting for one (1) Otolaryngologist to assist with call coverage and one day a week patient care in our ENT clinic at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL.

    Responsibilities

    • Independently see Otolaryngology patients in our clinic on Mondays, and perform in-office procedures such as fiberoptic laryngoscopy, sinus debridements, biopsies, and other ENT procedures.
    • Cover Otolaryngology call for our NF/SG hospital and emergency department 1 in 3 days, including weekends and holidays, evenly divided with two other Otolaryngology VA physicians.
    • Supervise Otolaryngology residents in clinic, and for inpatient/ER consults. Supervise one ENT PA and one ENT ARNP in clinic.
    The position includes clinical and teaching components. Demonstrated interest in academic teaching is preferable. Candidates will teach Otolaryngology residents on the VA rotation, who are based out of the University of Florida.

    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
