    These positions are located within the Greater Los Angeles Health Care System catchment area. As a Psychiatrist, you will work on a multidisciplinary team, including primary care, to provide coordinated, integrated, rehabilitative and restorative mental health care, with the goal of helping eligible Veterans achieve and maintain the highest level of functioning and independence. Major duties and responsibilities include:

    Diagnoses and treats a wide variety of severe mental and substance use disorders and uses recovery-oriented principles;

    Teaches a variety of trainees and must be eligible for a faculty appointment;

    Provides clinical services in a virtual modality, including video telehealth, patient/provider secure messaging, telephone visits, and remote review of electronically forwarded medical records.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
