Duties
- Instructs groups and individuals in daily and weekly ski programs, using a variety of teaching methods to effectively communicate to students who have a wide range of abilities and backgrounds. Teaches children as well as adults.
- Ensures proper safety procedures are followed at all times and that students learn in a safe environment. Is responsible for ticket handling for groups of students and must maintain good internal control practices to keep track of these tickets.
- Assists with program registration, equipment issue, ski lift, and cleaning duties.
- May be involved in designing, building and maintaining the snowboarding course, by building jumps and installing rails, using hand tools.
Conditions of Employment

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2 to include a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications
- Must be an advanced skier/snowboarder with the ability to teach others.
- Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire.
Highly Preferred: Candidates that possess highly preferred criteria and meet the minimum qualifications above will be referred to the hiring manager first. Criteria is verified within the application package.
