Full-Time - The work schedule for this position is Mixed Tour. With a Mixed Tour work schedule, an employee may be changed between full-time, part-time and intermittent work schedules to accommodate fluctuating workloads and is subject to a signed agreement.

This is a Work at Home (WAH) position. The Duty Station will be the selectee's home address.

- Provide training when required to staff, including on-site assistance as necessary.
- Provide technical and administrative guidance to managers of the Area Census Offices (ACO) in order to assure timely, orderly and efficient conduct of the Decennial operations.
- Monitor the ACO recruiting operations by working closely with Government Partnership Specialists, Community Outreach and Media Partnership Specialists.
- Maintain contact with appropriate referral services in order to identify recruitment efforts and resolve recruitment and publicity problems.
- Serve as a technical problem-solver/troubleshooter involving daily telephone contact and regular visits to assigned ACOs and assigned geographical areas.
75% or less - Position requires 50% or more travel.

Examples of specialized experience or education sought for this opportunity may include:
EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 05 level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes basic data collection procedures; providing assistance in training session, scheduling, and monitoring quality of work products.
EDUCATION: One full year of graduate level education OR superior academic achievement. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 07 level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes assisting with the conduct of recruiting of applicants; making arrangements for training facilities; reviewing the work of office and field staff; and providing assistance in areas, such as, office automation, equipment, and administrative operations as well as travel arrangements.
EDUCATION: Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. OR J.D., if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 09 level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes monitoring and guiding aspects of an organization's recruitment efforts; monitoring costs and progress of projects; providing oversight to formal training and administrative programs.
EDUCATION: PH.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 11 level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes everything at lower grades listed above as well as providing oversight to data collection programs and projects; analyzing demographic data and information; providing quality control oversight for information collected in support of office operations and providing administrative support to office management.
EDUCATION: No substitution of education for experience is permitted at the GG-12 level.
