Duties
A position in the Office of Health Security (OHS), Total Workforce Protection Directorate (TWPD), Organizational Wellness Division (OWD). The individual is expected to continuously promote worklife services and activities through a sustained communications and marketing strategy; coordinate with Worklife Program Managers, key Departmental leaders, and DHS Components on various worklife matters to help identify workforce needs and shape best practices. Provides consultative services to help shape short- and long-term goals to align worklife program activities to the Secretary's priorities and White House Administration focus.
The Organizational Wellness Division oversees a holistic strategy to infuse total workforce protection program areas within the development of services that address critical life stressors which can influence overall well-being of the employee and their families. The Department's health, wellness, and family outreach programs are critical to employee retention and performance. The objective is to equip employees with the inherent tools and resources to manage the stresses of daily life and to cultivate a more resilient and productive workforce.
Conditions of Employment

Qualifications
Qualifications required:
- Seeking an organized, detailed, collaborative team player who is able to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment! Experience with all tools within the Microsoft Office suite, strong writing and presentation skills, and ability to develop and execute communications plans. Familiarity with worklife services and employee programs which may include but are not limited to the following: health and wellness, family and dependent care, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), worksite lactation, and volunteer programs.
- Must be able to manage project tasks, meet deadlines, complete quick turnaround taskers, and be adaptable to meet customer demands.
- Need a hard-charger who is ready to come in and hit the ground running; someone who understands the importance of synergistic partnerships with all Components to unify efforts across the Department.
- Seeking someone passionate about serving those who serve the nation by promoting critical worklife programs and services to improve overall well-being for employees and their families.
