Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying a wide range of human resource management principles to provide advisory and technical services on Employee Relations or Labor Relations functions and work practices. Examples of qualifying experience may include (1) expert knowledge of federal labor and employee relations regulations, policies, and procedures (5 CFR Parts 430, 432, 451, and 752, 5 USC Chapter 71) to effectively design, implement, and evaluate programs; (2) comprehensive knowledge of federal laws, rules, regulations, principles, and practices related to Work/Life programs, including telework, leave administration (including FMLA and other leave types), and awards programs; (3) ability to research and apply laws, rules, regulations, case laws, principles, and practices related to assigned programs (Labor/Employee Relations, and Work/Life Programs); (4) skill in advising management and employees on all aspects of Labor/Employee Relations, and Work/Life programs, providing clear and accurate guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
