As a basic requirement, applicants must demonstrate progressively responsible leadership experience that is indicative of senior level managerial capability and directly related to the skills and abilities outlined under Mandatory Qualifications below. MANDATORY TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

You will be evaluated on the following Technical Qualifications:
MTQ 1: Demonstrated professional experience in auditing principles, concepts, and techniques to serve as an expert on the interpretation and application of auditing theory and methodology, as applied to promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in agency programs and operations and to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse in a complex environment combined with the demonstrated ability to apply standards promulgated by the Government Accountability Office (GAO), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and other professional organizations.
MTQ 2: Demonstrated experience managing, overseeing, and directing the performance and execution of all audit activities on a large or national scale to prevent and detect fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement from inception to completion in compliance with government auditing standards in an Inspector General or similar environment.
MTQ 3: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, for example with high-level Government officials including the most senior organizational leaders, representatives of external and interagency committees, the public, Congress, and audiences varying widely in background, experience, and level of understanding on matters which may be sensitive, controversial, and complex.
FAILURE TO MEET OR FULLY ADDRESS EACH MANDATORY EXECUTIVE CORE QUALIFICATION AND TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS WILL ELIMINATE A CANDIDATE FROM FURTHER CONSIDERATION.
