This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not meet the screen-out element will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform common tasks including: 1) Testing and repairing aircraft electrical systems and accessories on fixed and rotary wing aircraft; 2) Working from blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, and technical directives; 3) Correcting discrepancies by removal, repair, or replacement of parts of aircraft electrical systems; and 4) Using hand and power tools associated with the trade. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
