This position has an SPF which is current registration as a Professional Architect (RA) in any state, District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. If you meet this requirement, you must provide a copy of your current registration with your application. A copy of a wall certificate that does not show current registration status will not serve to verify you meet this requirement.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Developing design drawings and specifications for new facilities or repair, restoration, and alteration of existing facilities using advanced architectural software such as AutoCAD and/or Specs-In-Tact;
2) Participating in on-site analysis to collect data and develop scope for construction projects;
3) Coordinating the architectural design with engineering disciplines to ensure compatibility and efficiency of the site and building design; and
4) Investigating architectural issues and concerns to recommend options for remediation or corrective measures.
