Duties
- Performs a variety of clerical and administrative functions in support of the organization to which assigned.
- Receives phone calls and visitors. Answers routine inquiries or refers to appropriate staff members.
- Follows up on suspense dates to ensure that required actions and responses are made within deadlines
- Provides administrative support including typing/word processing, mail preparation, copying, and distribution using office automation equipment and word processing software.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must be available during the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Qualifications
1. Basic computer skills, and clerical or administrative work experience which indicates the ability to perform the duties as described above.
2. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Power Point, Excel, and other software as required. Must be able to type 40 wpm.
3. Knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation and composition techniques needed to accurately type a variety of material from written sources or voice recordings.
4. Possess the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
**Highly Preferred - Resume must demonstrate experience in the highly preferred criteria.
1. Must have experience with Caterease.
2. Must have catering and conferencing.
