The selectee of this position serves as a Administrative Officer. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and directing District administrative programs in support of the mission of the United States Marshals Service. Provides a wide variety of administrative services that supports the overall operation of the district.

Duties
As a Administrative Officer at the GS-0341-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Coordinating financial and budget management, procurement and contracting activities.
- Reviews and evaluates local administrative policies and procedures for the purpose of making recommendations for and effecting changes.
- Interpret and implement USMS policies, directives, regulations, policies, and directives impacting administrative operations of the district.
- Serves as the District's administrative liaison to the United States Marshal and the Chief Deputy or Assistant Chief Deputy on District administrative programs.
- Plans the work to be accomplished by subordinates, establishes priorities, assigns work, evaluates work performance, provides advice, counsel, and guidance to subordinates.

Qualifications
GS-13 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-0341-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Analyzing financial operations for an organization; 2) Utilizing a financial management system such as Unified Financial Management System (UFMS), E2 Solutions (Travel), etc. to perform a variety of financial functions such as projecting budgets, processing obligations etc.; 3) Collaborating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on administrative activities (i.e., property management, personnel actions, procurement, renovation projects, etc.); and 4) Planning work and setting priorities for employees.
