This position is covered by the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. Any applicant tentatively selected for this position will be subject to pre-employment or pre-appointment drug screening. Persons occupying a "testing designated position (TDP)" will be subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing.
Selection and placement are contingent upon waiver or completion of satisfactory security and/or medical requirements, if applicable.
If the Agency decides to interview any qualified employee on the selection list, then all on the list who are qualified must be interviewed. If the selection list is shortened to a best qualified list through a comparative process, then the best qualified list shall be considered the selection list.
Eligible applicants meeting the minimum qualification requirements, if applicable, may be further evaluated. Based on this evaluation, applicants will be placed in one of the following categories: score order, category grouping, or alphabetical and referred to the selecting official for consideration.
This position is not covered by Public Law 92.297 for early retirement purposes.
