This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to independently perform the most difficult and complex tasks as an expert or have been consulted by other employees in difficult situations performing duties including 1) Planning daily/weekly sequence of work operations for subordinates.; 2) Interpreting blueprints and preparing layouts and sketches as necessary; 3) Determining priorities and assignment of work to be done by subordinates and assigning tasks to subordinates on the basis capabilities and availability of the individuals involved; 4) Monitoring the quality and aspect of the work of artisans under his/her control by ensuring all work is inspected in the proper sequence prior to submitting to Quality Assurance for verification; 5) Making recommendations concerning disciplinary or commendatory actions, promotions, demotions, training requirements, transfers, separations, grievances, and beneficial suggestions.
