There is no timeframe requirement at the Level V/FV-J to compete. Candidates must show experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility that is appropriate to the position. Experience that demonstrates an extensive knowledge of, and experience in, technology system interrelationships within the National Airspace System (NAS), management of civilian or military automated aviation, navigation, or other electronics systems. As well as specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: The NOM using technical expertise of Composite Flight Data Processing Service (CFAD), Composite Radar Data Processing (CRAD), Automatic Dependent Surveillance Service (ADSS), Controller Pilot Data Link Communication Service (CPDLC), will determine the performance/certification status of the services.
In addition, to the specialized experience, experience at the next lower level of FV-I/Level IV or equivalent, meets the minimum qualifications for this position as long as the experience provides the demonstrated abilities identified below:
