Summary

As an Alternative Dispute Resolution Manager at the GS-0301-15, you will be part of the Field Management Programs, Office of Field Programs, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. If selected, you will be responsible for managing, directing, and administering the agency's Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mediation program in EEOC's Field Offices nationwide and provide highly complex and critical advisory services to the FMP Director.

Duties

  • Plan, design, and oversee a nationwide Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program, establish performance metrics, coordinate multi-office operations, and implement strategies that resolve systemic issues and enhance program effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of concepts, techniques, and methods of Federal and private sector alternative dispute resolution and mediation policies to develop broad guidelines or regulations or to conduct project to resolve complex systemic problems of broad scope.
  • Ability to manage team and group dynamics, resolve conflict situations, deliver ADR mediation services, facilitate voluntary resolutions between parties, and provide expert guidance to Field Offices on ADR policies and best practices nationwide.
  • Ability to analyze ADR data using ARC and Power BI, ensure accuracy, identify trends, and prepare reports for leadership to inform decisions and improve program efficiency.
  • Experience mentoring staff and overseeing programs to ensure consistent ADR policy application across offices. Ability to lead teams, set priorities, resolve escalated issues, and foster collaboration to achieve agency goals.

Qualifications

For the GS-15: You must have at least one year of experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the federal service that provided the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of this position. Such experience includes developing policies; establishing plans; designing, executing, and monitoring a nationwide comprehensive ADR program; and providing educational and technical assistance to administer the agency's ADR mediation program on a national scale.

Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS- 15 level.

Additional information

Relocation expenses will not be paid.

The selectee will be required to have a duty station and report to Headquarters or one of the 53 EEOC Field Offices.
