Duties

Assists in managing a high volume beverage program as part of a large full service food and beverage operation. Candidates must be customer service-oriented, experienced, and organized. In this position, you will play a key role in handling the day-to-day operations of the bar and staff. You will supervise, train, and schedule employees. You will ensure all health and safety procedures are met, and contribute to the overall success of the business. Assists in identifying problems and initiating appropriate corrective measures to insure efficiency within the business activity. Evaluates the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment. Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, develops activity financial plan. Monitors the procurement of all supplies and equipment for the activity. Recommend and enforces operating procedures. Represents the activity to the public.

  • Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and various hours of the day and week when required.
  • Must possess a certificate in food service sanitation or have the ability to obtain within first 6 months of employment.
  • Must possess a Serve Safe Alcohol certificate or equivalent or have the ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed.
- Must have the ability to work independently, as well as lead, manage, and motivate a team.
- Must have the ability to provide excellent guest services
- Must be able to assist with bar operations functions

Highly Qualifying Criteria:
- Possess at least 3 years of work experience bartending, serving or managing a full service restaurant and/or bar environment
