This position is located with the FMWR Seward Military Resort located in Seward, Alaska.
Up to 25% recruitment or relocation and/or a retention incentive may be authorized.
Eligible for 3.21% COLA (subject to change at any time).

Duties
- Recommends and carries out instructions and directives as necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base.
- Reviews programs to identify strengths and weaknesses. Recommends or carries out corrective measure as appropriate.
- Reviews financial reports, plans, costs, and budget.
- Evaluates success in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment.

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2 to include local agency checks and a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays dependent upon mission.
Qualifications
Possess one (1) year of work experience managing or directing the activities of the type of business (i.e. resort, hotel, tourism industry) to be managed.
Highly Preferred: Candidates that possess highly preferred criteria and meet the minimum qualifications above will be referred to the hiring manager first. Criteria is verified within the application package.
- Possess one (1) year of experience in hotel or front desk management.
- Possess campground/RV Park experience.
- Possess six (6) months experience with property management system software.
- Possess one (1) year FMWR supervisory experience.
- Possess experience with directing and/or programming outdoor activities and events.
Education
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
