Duties
- Assists the Fitness Facility Manager in the overall management and operation of a fitness facility.
- Assists with the scheduling and outreach of organizational units at the facility.
- Conducts classes and walks all facility rooms to provide guidance as appropriate.
- Assists in the assessment of facility requirements and helps develop plans and specifications for projects to augment or replace fitness and sports facilities.
- Oversees the inventory of property; fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with Army Regulation 215-3.
- A one-year Supervisory probationary period may be required.
- This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
- Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities.
- Work schedule will be irregular. The incumbent will be required to work, nights, weekends, holidays and/or special events.
- Must complete the following courses or classes after the start of employment: MWR Orientation Course; Customer Service; Equipment (Safe Operation and Basic Maintenance Repair).
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- experience carrying out a sports program that included:
- a variety of individual and team sports, and
- guiding participants in developing the skills needed for participation in sports activities, and
- teaching the techniques of various sports.
- possess the following certifications:
- CPR, and
- First Aid, and
- AED
- Valid certifications MUST be uploaded at the time of application
