Duties

  • Will provided care for program participants in compliance with DoD, Army and local policies, guidance and standards.
  • Encourages patron interest, participation and helps promote a positive golf experience.
  • Assists in the marketing and promotion of the golf activity and programs.
  • Assists in the scheduling and conducting of golf related activities and tournaments.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • This position may require a health screening. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.

Qualifications


1. One (1) year of general work experience that has provided you the ability to operate a golf program, market and promote golf programs, provide golf instruction to groups and individuals; and conduct golf tournaments and related activities.
2. Two-years above the high school level education that has provided you the ability to operate a golf program, market and promote golf programs, provide golf instruction to groups and individuals; and conduct golf tournaments and related activities.
3. Possession or currently enrolled in Class A PGA Certification course.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band Allowances and Differential
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Night differential may be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.

  • Incentives will not be paid.

  • Allowances, differentials, or incentives will not be paid. .
