Assistant Nurse Manager - Rehabilitation Program
Join our compassionate team at the Polytrauma Transitional Rehabilitation Program as an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM). Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the nursing staff under the guidance of the Nurse Manager.
- Coordinate patient care encompassing education, self-management, and satisfaction throughout treatment.
- Develop and nurture professional relationships with interdisciplinary teams to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Manage unit operations including patient care oversight, customer service, equipment, staff schedules, and compliance audits.
- Contribute to and develop educational plans for self and staff, promoting advanced certification and clinical skill development.
- Participate in designing, implementing, and evaluating unit-based programs.
- Maintain current standards of nursing care and practice; ensure compliance with organizational expectations and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Must hold a full and active license as a registered nurse in a U.S. state or territory.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (BSN preferred, MSN a plus).
- 5 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 1-3 years in rehabilitation or long-term care.
- CRRN or other related certification is highly desirable.
- Proficient in basic written and spoken English.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time position; Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
- This is not a remote position.
